This week, we will be fully involved in the many activities surrounding Safer Business Action Week.
As part of this week Lodge Service Charity have conducted a number of ‘Dealing with Customer Abuse workshops‘ which are aim at providing the necessary tools to allow your teams to proactively approach difficult and potentially confrontational situations in the workplace.
This weeks focus is to raise additional awareness of the importance of business security by bringing police forces, retailers, BIDs, BCRPs and other partners together on targeted operations in towns and city centres across the country to prevent and reduce retail crime.
As part of the initiative, police and partners will be holding Safer Business Action Days throughout the week and visiting local retailers and other businesses to understand more about the issues they are facing on a daily basis. The week will also be used to target prolific offenders and focus on areas where more business crime is being reported.
Following a recent post made by Charity Retail Association, The Association of Convenience Stores are calling on #ShopKind supporters to support #SaBA Week by promoting #ShopKind materials.
Retailers can access #ShopKind assets, including posters, social media banners, and an in-store radio announcement on the NBCC website. The NBCC has also published guidance for the #SaBA Week here and in the download, below.
